MARCUS MILLS is an award-winning film maker and photographer hailing from Buckinghamshire, England who founded his production company ESQUE FILMS in 2023.

Marcus is a First Class Honours Degree graduate in Film and Tv Production and has worked professionally within the film industry in various capacities from 2017-2023 on high end studio features and television, establishing himself as an accomplished facilitator between all departments with a succinct knowledge of their inner practices. From 2022 - 2023 Marcus progressed into the managerial role of Studio Manager for Marvel Studios and LucasFilm at the world renowned Pinewood Studios.

In 2023 Marcus pursued his creative aspirations full time forming his production company ESQUE FILMS and working as a freelance videographer and photographer. 

In January 2024 Marcus wrapped principal photography on his Short Film debut ELIXIR which he co-wrote, produced and directed. Since then it has enjoyed a successful festival run at BAFTA qualifying festival FFILMIC (Best Cinematography) and New Renaissance Film Festival (Best Music Score) among others.

Marcus is now in Pre-Production on his next Short Film BYGONE.
